WHAT IS ATLAS....

Atlas, Is in direct response to New York city’s dramatic reevaluation of its criminal justice system aimed at fulfilling the need for supportive, Strength- based offerings to ensure that court-involved individuals are in a position to succeed. This will ultimately reduce crime by eliminating the dependence of incarceration and replacing it with personal empowerment and community support.

Atlas mission, Is to improve public safety and to enhance the capacity of community- Based organizations to serve people at the highest risk of violence.

Atlas in Staten Island , we serve young adults between the ages of 18 -22 years of age. Atlas Services are based on the Evidence based model Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Which incorporates a participant’s closest loved ones in the change and growth process.
